Warranty Policy

At MAINGEAR, we put our customers first. Our mission is simple: deliver the best PCs on the planet and back them up with exceptional support that never leaves you hanging. Here’s how our warranty works: 

What’s Covered 
  • Every original part in your system is covered during the warranty period. 
  • Every system bought from MAINGEAR.com comes with free lifetime technical support for as long as you own your rig. 
  • If something goes wrong in the first 30 days and it’s covered by warranty, we’ll pay for ground shipping within the continental US, as long as you still have the original packaging. After 30 days, shipping to MAINGEAR is on you. 
  • We’ll use virtual tools and remote diagnostics whenever possible to fix problems fast. 
  • When it makes sense, we may send you a replacement part first (advance swap) to keep your downtime to a minimum. 
  • Even after your MAINGEAR warranty expires, some components may still be covered by the manufacturer. We’ll help you connect with them if you want to handle the repair yourself. 
What’s Not Covered 
  • Damage or failures caused by outside equipment, shorted connections, accidents, or components not purchased from or installed by MAINGEAR. 
  • Any loss of data or physical damage caused during normal or abnormal use — even with MAINGEAR parts. We strongly recommend keeping regular backups. 
  • General system upkeep, such as APEX loop maintenance and cleanings. Click here to learn more about APEX maintenance.
  • Consumables, including batteries, thermal paste/pads, and open-loop coolant.
  • Physical/accidental damage, including water/coolant damage.
  • Cosmetic blemishes and normal wear and tear.
  • Parts or systems where serial numbers don’t match our records. 
  • Shipping to MAINGEAR after the first 30 days (customers cover these costs). 
  • All shipping costs for customers outside the US. 
  • Damage or defects caused by: shipping (after the original delivery), improper installation, misuse, modifications, unauthorized repairs, power issues, or regular wear and tear. 
Repairs and Replacements 
  • If a component has been discontinued or is otherwise unavailable, MAINGEAR may coordinate service through the original manufacturer or provide a comparable replacement part.
  • For limited edition components or cases produced in extremely limited runs (such as those found in our Drops), exact replacements may not be possible. In such cases, MAINGEAR will offer a suitable substitute or alternative solution at its discretion.
  • Out-of-warranty service and upgrade labor are billed at $100 per hour for standard systems and $135 per hour for Apex systems.
  • Repairs performed by MAINGEAR are covered for 30 days after you get your system back. 
  • Once your repair is complete, MAINGEAR covers return ground shipping within the continental US (as long as the system is still under warranty). If out-of-warranty, return shipping is paid by the customer. 
Upgrades 
  • MAINGEAR is happy to offer upgrade services on any factory-original system free of modifications. 
  • Upgrade services are subject to parts and labor costs, even if your system is under warranty. 
  • To guarantee quality and full compatibility, all upgrade parts must be sourced directly through MAINGEAR. We’re unable to install or support new or used hardware provided by customers.
