HOW LONG IS MAINGEAR'S WARRANTY?
MAINGEAR gaming PCs comes equipped with a 1-year limited hardware warranty, while workstations typically include 2 years of coverage. Extended warranties are available for a fee, up to 3 years total. All PCs include lifetime support and free repair labor. Additional hardware coverage may be available through individual component manufacturers. Labor costs apply to system upgrades and maintenance.
WHAT IS COVERED UNDER THE LIMITED HARDWARE WARRANTY?
All factory-installed components in the system are warrantied against failure due to normal use for the duration of the warranty period. For more information on our warranties, click here.
CAN I SEND MY PC IN TO BE UPGRADED?
Yes! We offer upgrade services on all MAINGEAR PCs purchased within the last 5 years. Labor is free of charge for any single component upgrade, excluding systems with Apex liquid cooling. Components must be purchased through MAINGEAR.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Yes, MAINGEAR ships internationally to select countries. Customers in Canada can complete their order online. Customers in other regions are encouraged to contact MAINGEAR support prior to ordering to obtain a shipping quote. All international customers are responsible for any applicable Customs fees to cover duties and/or taxes.
DOES MAINGEAR OFFER FINANCING?
Yes, financing is available for US residents 18 years and older. Financing is not currently available for international customers. Just choose “Apply for Financing” as your payment type during the final step of checkout and you will be taken to our financing application.
WHAT IS "BURN IN"?
The final step in our build process, “System QA – Burn In,” transforms your computer from assembled parts into a finely-tuned gaming rig or professional workstation. This involves:
- Software Deployment: Installing and updating the operating system, followed by the installation of all necessary hardware drivers to ensure full functionality. This is also where we update BIOS, define fan curves, power levels, and other system optimizations.
- Stress Testing: Using our proprietary software suite to simulate real-world workloads, identifying and eliminating any faulty components before shipping.
This rigorous, but essential process ensures your system is fully optimized, reliable, and ready to perform out of the box.
WHERE IS MAINGEAR LOCATED? DO YOU HAVE A STORE?
MAINGEAR is located in beautiful Warren, NJ. While we don't operate a conventional storefront, we have a small showroom in our lobby where visitors can engage with and purchase our products. Our sales team is also available during regular business hours for in-person buying advice and 1ofOne consultations. We do not offer tours of our facility, unless previous arrangements have been made.
DOES MAINGEAR ONLY SELL GAMING COMPUTERS?
Not at all! We also specialize in high end workstations for virtually any use case, from AI applications such as LLM training and inferencing, to mechanical engineering in CAD, to 3D rendering and motion graphics for feature films in Cinema 4D and After Effects. Our machines also make excellent general purpose home and office computers because they’re built with high quality components and assembled and tested expertly by hand, here in the USA. Whether you’re shopping for a multi-GPU rendering rig, or a mid-range gaming desktop, our knowledgeable sales staff are familiar with all current games and most professional software suites and their requirements, so we can help you find the right machine for your needs.
