Standalone RTX 5090 graphics cards are scarce across the market as of October 2026, but MAINGEAR has a strong stock of RTX 5090 PCs and wants them in the hands of gamers. To keep that supply with people who will play on them, MAINGEAR limits purchases containing an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 to one per customer, and purchases for commercial resale or for dismantling systems to resell parts are prohibited unless MAINGEAR authorizes them in writing. We have never had an issue with a PSU power connector melting. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 draws up to 575 watts through a single 12V-2x6 connector rated for 600 watts, so MAINGEAR builds every RTX 5090 PC with the native 12V-2x6 cable that comes with our PSUs, never over-volts the system, and builds and tests every component to spec.
